What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a focused pressure technique, usually directed at the feet or hands. It is based on the premise that there are zones and reflexes in the hands and feet which correspond to and are relative to all parts, glands and organs of the body.

How does Reflexology work?
When the reflexes are stimulated, the body's natural electrical energy works along the nervous system to clear any blockages in the corresponding zones. Pressure applied to any part of the zone will affect the entire zone and can be stimulated by working any reflex in the same zone.
Manipulating specific reflexes removes stress, activating the parasympathetic nervous system (a relaxation response). With decreased stress and enhanced relaxation the body can return to a state of balance or :homeostasis.:
The benefits of Reflexology are:
- relaxation and stress-relief
- enhanced circulation
- assists the body to normalize metabolism naturally
- complements all other healing modalities
